Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Lekhafy (CA Gourav Verma), Panipat, Haryana 132103 ("Lekhafy", "we", "us"), for the use of the Lekhafy website and service. By creating an account you accept these terms. If you use Lekhafy for a business or for clients, you accept them for that business and confirm you are authorised to do so.

1. What Lekhafy does

Lekhafy reads sales and returns reports you download from online marketplaces (such as Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho and Myntra) and prepares a GSTR-1 JSON file, GSTR-3B summary figures, a TCS comparison and a working Excel file. Lekhafy does not file returns on your behalf and does not log in to the GST portal for you. You upload the JSON and file the return yourself.

2. You stay responsible for your returns

• The output depends on the reports you upload. Marketplaces change their report formats and their reports can contain errors.
• You, or your tax professional, must review the figures, warnings and the JSON before uploading or filing. Filing a return is your decision.
• Lekhafy is a software tool and does not give tax, legal or accounting advice.
• We are not responsible for interest, late fees, penalties or demands arising from a return you file, including where the output contained an error you could have found by reviewing it.

3. Accounts

Give accurate details and keep your password secret. You are responsible for activity under your account. Upload reports only for GSTINs you own or are authorised to handle, such as clients who have engaged you. Tell us at cagouravv@gmail.com if you think your account has been misused.

4. Plans, trial and payment

• New accounts get a free trial for the period and limits shown at sign-up. No payment details are needed for the trial.
• Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Razorpay, and renew automatically until cancelled. Prices are in Indian rupees and exclude GST, which is charged as applicable.
• Each plan limits the number of GSTINs and invoices per return period. If you go over, you can still see results, but downloading the JSON needs a plan that covers the volume.
• You can cancel at any time from Plan & billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for. Refunds follow our refund and cancellation policy.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email. The new price applies from your next renewal after the notice period.

5. Acceptable use

Do not upload files you have no right to use, try to access other users' data, probe or overload the service, reverse engineer it, or use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts that do so.

6. Your data

You own the reports you upload and the results produced from them. You give us permission to process them only to provide the service to you. How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Availability and changes

We aim to keep Lekhafy available, especially around return due dates, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may add, change or remove features. If we discontinue the service we will give at least 30 days' notice so you can download your saved results.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is", and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profits, data or business. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.

9. Ending the agreement

You can stop using Lekhafy and delete your account at any time from Plan & billing. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms, with notice where reasonable.

10. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Panipat, Haryana have exclusive jurisdiction.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For material changes we will email you at least 15 days before they take effect. Continuing to use Lekhafy after that means you accept the updated terms.
